Naana holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Ghana, Legon and an LLB from the Faculty of Law also at the University of Ghana. She was called to the Ghana Bar in 2011 and has experience in litigation and dispute resolution in general. She has taken various courses in Alternative Dispute Resolution and given advice and support to clients on subjects such as arbitration and mediation.
Naana is a vociferous environmental lawyer who has successfully litigated against the siting of a gas refill project in a residential area and the dumping of untreated liquid waste into the sea by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly. Her areas of practice include environmental law, family law, labour and industrial law, commercial law, corporate law among others.
Naana is a member of the International Bar Association.
